Lakes Area Credit Union is committed to providing exceptional products and services aimed at enhancing our members’ experience. In 2007, we introduced a Super Dividend Checking Account and Growth Money Market Savings Account. We also became a member of CUDL (Credit Union Direct Lending) in efforts to enhance our members’ automobile buying experience. Another vigorous effort includes the addition of commercial accounts. For 53 years, LACU has focused primarily on providing individual accounts, but since 2007, it is now possible to do all your business banking with us! We offer business checking, savings, loans, credit cards, and cash management/ACH services.
Our momentum continues into 2008, as we have several exciting projects in the works! Construction of our new building is complete and we opened our doors in late August. Our new building is located in downtown Grand Rapids on the corner of Hwy 2 and Hwy 169 (where the Silver Spoon was located). Other initiatives include the development of our new website, and new online banking features including electronic bank statements and digital check imagery (where you can view your cashed checks online). Rest assured that it is our intent to keep you in the forefront of our plans by continuing to provide you with the best service possible year-round.
